Poundland card...round of applause please.

Well, I ventured into Poundland again, and decided to pick up a pack of their plain white card, to use for stamping and colouring.

I didn't expect much, but to be honest...

It was AMAZING.

Granted, it would be better if I had the correct stamping ink, which I'm waiting for it to be delivered, which is neither here or there in relation to this post.

Anyway...

The card in question.

The Surface is lovely and smooth and the marker colour is so vivid.

I thoroughly tested it, for bleeding and how much it could
take in regards to colour.

As you can see from the above video, I went over the card plenty, with my promarkers, and it took it, without the colour bleeding out of the lines, it eventually bled through, to the card below, but for proper use, and not like my testing technique, it would serve as a fantastic a range of inexpensive card stock for stamping, printing and colouring, with pencils and markers alike.

So this was the card project, that I used it for.

The Stamp was actually designed by my sister, a few years ago...but that's a whole other blog post.
I stamped this image with Dovecraft black pigment ink, which I dried using my heat tool, to set it.
(this is why the image looks a little 'muddy'. Roll on the arrival of my dye based ink pad, in the post.

I coloured it with my Promarkers...

Them matted and layered it with silver mirri card, and some teal/blue'y green, glitter card.

I then added a few gems of a similar colour and a sentiment to finish it off.

I have since noticed, that this stuff sells out fast, once it hits the shelves, which leads me to believe a lot of crafter's already know about this gem.

Other things I purchased included more glue dots...of course, and a pack of die cut sentiments. Which, to OUR Poundland are new

XOXO
